What should I wear?

I love neutrals more than anything, they just photograph so well. Mama's always wear a dress, something flowy and long. This makes for dreamy photos. I tend to lean more towards a boho style. Try to avoid super busy prints, if possible+a good rule of thumb is two solids for every print. Add loads of texture to clothing. I will always send inspo if desired. Just ask!

How do I pay?

Your balance is due the day of your shoot (excluding weddings). I accept Venmo Katrina-Harris-2 or cash, whichever is easiest for you.

 

What do I bring?

Here is a list of helpful things to bring: wipes for runny noses, blanket if its chilly, reward snack or treat to have after session and bug spray (or I will have some-for outdoor sessions).

What time of day is best for my session?

If shooting outside, I like to shoot one hour before sunset (maybe make the kids take a later nap this day). If we are shooting in studio, anytime in the pm works.

What options do I have for locations?

I tend to shoot a lot at Shawnee Mission Lake or downtown KC (this is where my studio is located).

What if it rains the day of my session?

We can always reschedule so please don't worry about that. I tend to stalk the weather leading up to your session time and will give you plenty of notice.

Can you photoshop that?

I will tell you that I do not photoshop anything but I will lightly edit blemishes for sure if needed. You are beautiful just the way you are.

How long until I receive my photos?

This is a big one, I also work full time and have a family. Please keep this in mind before hiring me. For weddings, expect 8-10 weeks and for full sessions (family, maternity, senior etc) expect 3-4+ weeks for delivery. I appreciate your patience.
